PEUTERSPEELZAAL
“The assurance that your child is in good hands.”
At Hadana, we believe in the power of a loving, safe and stimulating environment for the development of young children. Our daycare centre is deliberately small-scale, so that each child receives personal attention and can develop at their own pace.
We create a place where children feel safe, where they discover the world through play and where their unique talents are valued and stimulated.
Sustainability is our top priority – from the use of natural materials
to learning to consciously deal with the world around us.
Hadana is not only a place for children, but also for parents and pedagogical
staff. Together we form a committed and close-knit community in which
cooperation and mutual trust are central. Every day we work on
an environment where everyone comes with a smile.
Emmi Pikler
“The freedom to grow, the safety to explore.”
At Hadana, we understand how important the first years of your child’s life are. This period forms the basis for trust, independence and lifelong
curiosity. That’s why we’ve chosen Emmi Pikler’s vision, an approach that
revolves around respecting the natural pace of each child and encouraging safe, loving development.
For you as a parent, this means that your child is given the space to grow in an environment where they feel fully seen, heard and valued. Our baby groups, especially for children aged 0 to 2, offer a place where children can move and explore freely. We believe that every child is unique, and we respect that every step—from rolling to crawling, from sitting to walking—may happen at your child’s own pace.
Our pedagogical staff play a central role as loving and attentive
guides. They are not there to direct development, but to carefully
support it. They observe with a warm eye for detail, encourage your child
when necessary, and ensure that self-confidence grows. This means that your child not only learns to move, but also learns that they can explore the world themselves.
The space in which your child is located is designed consciously and with care. We always adapt it to the developmental stage of the children. If your baby learns to crawl, we place toys in such a way that they challenge you to reach just that little bit further. If your child learns to climb, we offer safe but stimulating opportunities to discover new heights. Every detail in our environment is designed to help your child progress step by step, without pressure, but with curiosity and fun.
At Hadana, our pedagogical staff are not only visible and involved for the
children, but also for you as a parent. We know how valuable it is to see your child grow and blossom, and we take the time to share that journey with you. We understand your questions, celebrate the milestones together and offer you the certainty that your child is in the best hands.
At Hadana, it's about more than just development. It is about building
trust, providing safety and letting your child grow into a
confident, curious and independent person. Together with you, we want to make these beautiful first steps in life as valuable and loving as possible.
Personal Attention
“Care with attention.”
At Hadana we believe that care moments are much more than just practical
actions; they are valuable moments of contact, interaction and bonding. During these moments, your child's signals are central. Our pedagogical staff have a keen eye and ear for the sounds, facial expressions and body language of each child. In this way, they sense what your child needs and respond to this with love.
We consciously take the time for these care moments. No rush, no routine work, but real attention for your child. During changing, feeding or dressing, we make eye contact, talk to your child and name what we are doing together. This offers your child not only a feeling of safety and security, but also the space to actively participate and learn to trust themselves and their environment.
This loving attention during care moments ensures that children feel
heard and seen. The result? A child who can continue to explore and play relaxed, satisfied and with self-confidence. The personal bond that we build during these moments forms the basis for a safe and warm environment in which your child can develop optimally.
At Hadana, we see every moment – no matter how small – as an opportunity to connect with your child. Because a child who experiences love and attention grows into a self-confident and happy person.
Pikler Game Material
“Free play, a world of possibilities.”
At Hadana, we believe that free play is a crucial part of a child's development. Inspired by Emmi Pikler's vision, we give children the space to decide for themselves what and how long they want to play. This autonomy strengthens their self-confidence, stimulates their curiosity and helps them develop naturally.
Our groups are equipped with carefully selected Pikler play materials, such as Pikler balls, crawling blocks, steps and simple objects that invite discovery. The toys are made of natural, sustainable materials and have different shapes, which encourages children to experiment with them. We deliberately choose passive toys, because we believe that this makes children active. They do not offer ready-made ways to play, but invite fantasy, movement and exploration.
For the little ones, it is important that the toys are light and easy to grip, so that they can practice their motor skills and make new discoveries with their hands and feet. For older children, the toys offer more challenging opportunities that match their growing skills.
Our pedagogical staff play an important role in this process. They carefully observe where the children's interests lie and which developmental stage they are going through. Based on this, they prepare the space so that it always matches the
needs and pace of each child.
At Hadana, playing is about much more than just fun. It is a valuable means for children to grow, discover and develop confidence in their own abilities. With the right toys and a space that invites exploration, we ensure that each child feels free to follow his or her own unique path.
Reggio Emilia
“Discovering the world through your own eyes.”
At Hadana, we work for children aged 2 to 12 according to the Reggio Emilia vision, where the child is always seen as competent. This means that we focus on what a child can already do, rather than on what they cannot do yet. We believe that every child has unique talents and possibilities, and we encourage them to discover the world for themselves.
The Reggio Emilia approach is based on three key elements that influence a child's development: the space, the adults and the child themselves. The Italian pedagogue Loris Malaguzzi, founder of this vision, said that a child has 100 languages, but that adults often take away 99 of them. What he means is that as adults we often fill in and direct too quickly, while it is important to give children the space to communicate and explore the world in their own way.
Instead of limiting children, we offer an environment that encourages them to discover their own world. We use “open” materials such as branches, buttons, feathers and clay, which invite children to experiment, build and create. These materials do not provide a fixed purpose or form, but give children the freedom to develop and express their own ideas.
Our pedagogical staff have the task of looking closely at the child and listening to what it needs to grow. They offer different materials and opportunities, so that children can make their own journey of discovery. By seeing the child
as an active, curious explorer of the world, we ensure that they not only learn, but also enjoy the process.
At Hadana we believe in the power of the competent child. We create an environment where children can be themselves, follow their own path and discover the many "languages" of their world.
Educational Staff
“Working with heart and soul.”
At Hadana, our pedagogical staff are the core of our care. They work with heart and soul, enthusiasm and expertise to create a safe and loving environment for your child. Our staff have the necessary diplomas and up-to-date knowledge of child development, and are also trained in first aid for children, so that we can always offer a safe care environment.
They are aware of both the verbal and non-verbal signals of each child, and understand that every behavior has a positive intention. At Hadana, we ensure that your child feels heard, understood and supported in every phase of his or her development.
The selection of our pedagogical staff is careful and strict, and each employee has a valid Certificate of Conduct (VOG). With their expertise and dedication, they provide the care that your child deserves.
